The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity hosted its annual Corporate Golf Day in October at The Belfry Hotel and Resort. Corporate sponsors and partners spent a great day socialising and networking on the world-renowned Brabazon Championship course. Snooker legend and entertainer, Willie Thorne hosted a fund-raising auction during the evening dinner and in total, the day raised £20,000 for the Charity which will fund eight life-saving air ambulance missions.
Midlands Air Ambulance is the charity responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances, serving the communities of six Midlands counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This constitutes the largest air ambulance operating region in the UK.
The Midlands Air Ambulance receives no Government or National Lottery funding. Each Midlands Air Ambulance mission costs £2,500 and the Charity needs to raise in excess of £7 million each year to keep its three air ambulances operational.
Combining aerial footage with conventional video and partner testimonials, ProMotion Media produced the video on a pro bono basis as a gesture of support for the Charity.
